TOW TO TOP PRODUCTION PROCESS

Recommendations for the DRYTEX® Tow Breakage Return >>

As a rule the cold breakage will take place if the capacity of shrinking of the TOPS does not have importance for the following processes: for example. If it is needed to produce "N" spinning (fixed 100%). The material in cold breakage is also shrinkable after being in the breakage process.

Such shrinking, nevertheless, is minor who the obtained one by hot breakage, and is not possible to influence in it by changing the regulation of the breaker machine. SO IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO OBTAIN A PRECISE PERCENTAGE OF SHRINKING IN THE break in cold TOPS. if the breakage is more violent it can, if there is not a good calibration, produce a big amount of neps.

As it is known, in the acrylic cable processing, the title of the cold broken material is around 10% superior to the initial title of the cable, contrary to what happens in the Hot break.

The mixed of the shrunken TOPS (N) originated from different vaporized loads work in analogous form as is described in the chapter about the making of HB spinnings. Additionally is possible to put attention that when the breakage is done , the minimum distance between the points of pressure of the last zone must be of 180 mm (measured between the pinzage points of the ceramic and rubber rollers ). If the distance is smaller, a enlargment of the material can occur that would originate an increase of the shrinking.

6.1 Formation of a material stock before entering to the staple fiber preparation for problematic cases; like the velvet.

In order to obtain uniform results in the dye it is advantageous to mix different packages before entering to the staple fibre preparation. That mixed compensates the irregularities happened in the vaporized that passed unnoticed. Contrary to what happens in the mixed of the vaporized loads that compensates the fluctuations of the vaporized of short duration, in this case the fluctuations are registered in the long duration vaporized, like the happened ones during different days of the week.

For the formation of the stock the material is stored before entering the preparation. Only when the last coil or last bump are ready, the material will be taken to the preparation using a homogenous mixture with the beginning, the middle and the end of the package.
